Endowment & Planned Giving
Endowment Funds
The Waukesha Symphony Orchestra has four endowment funds
which provide support for programs of the WSO and League.
Donor contributions may be directed to any of these four existing
funds. The Endowment Board, appointed annually by the WSO
Board of Directors, oversees the investment of funds, distribution
of earnings and development of contributions for the Endowment
Funds.
The General Endowment Fund provides income
to support the general operations of the Symphony. Contributions
to this restricted fund are invested to preserve the principal
in perpetuity. Earnings of the fund may be used to support
the Orchestra’s budget. Gifts to this permanent fund
help to preserve the future of classical music in our communities.
The James and Dorothy Goff Frisch Endowment Fund
was created to honor WSO founding members, James and Dorothy
Goff Frisch. The contributions to this permanent fund are
invested to preserve the principal, with the earnings used
to offset the expenses of a concert soloist.
The Waukesha Symphony League Education Investment
Fund provides funding for the educational programs
of the WSO and League.
The Anthony W. Bryant Scholarship Fund supports
an annual scholarship awarded by competitive audition to a
graduating high school senior with a declared major in music.
Planned Giving
The Waukesha Symphony Orchestra’s Planned Giving Programs
are designed to ensure that the music you have treasured throughout
your lifetime will live on for future generations. Planned
giving offers personal benefits to the donor and organizational
benefits to the WSO. The WSO Board of Directors encourages
supporters to consider a legacy gift to the Waukesha Symphony
Orchestra and League Endowment Funds.
The members of the Advisory Council for Estate Planning on
behalf of the Waukesha Symphony, Inc. are professionals who
bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to those
who are interested in making a planned gift. Any of the advisors
on the Council would be happy to meet with you or your professional
advisor to discuss the benefits of planned giving.
