Founded in 1948 by Dorothy Goff Frisch at the suggestion
of the Orchestra’s first music director Milton Weber,
the Waukesha Symphony League, or “auxiliary” as
it was called, was created to “promote the welfare and
very existence” of the newly formed Waukesha Symphony
Orchestra. The Waukesha Symphony League continues to support
the work of the Waukesha Symphony through tireless efforts
to raise funding and awareness. Today, the WSL boasts a membership
of more than 75 people. The League plans several major fundraising
events each season including the annual Symphony Ball and
Garden Tour. For more information on membership or volunteer
opportunities with the Waukesha Symphony League
